Dimasa Language

Dimasa, also known by the autonym Graodima /ɡɾawdima/ (ISO 639-3 dis), is a language of the Bodo-Garo subfamily of the Tibeto-Burman (Trans-Himalayan) language family. Dimasa is spoken by about 110,000 Dimasa people. The largest number of Dimasas live in the Dima Hasao district of Assam, as well as in the lower portion of the Karbi Anglong district (East), the Lower Crescent Region of the Nagaon district, and the Cachar district of Assam. Outside of Assam, there are populations in Dimapur (Nagaland) and Jiribam (Manipur).
